Individual Note
On the 1861 census William is shown as the son of John and Elizabeth. On the 1871 census he is shown as the grandson of Elizabeth. The 1871 return is probably an error but there is the possibility that he was a child of one of John and Elizabeths other children (possibly an illegitimate son of one of the daughters)
